On a holiday, we planned to visit some sikh religious places. We decided to visit Gurdwara Shri Ber Sahib situated in District Kapurthala(Punjab, India) at Sub Division Sultanpur Lodhi. The Gurdwara Ber Sahib, is situated on the bank of the Kali Bein,
Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji ( Ist Guru of Sikh) performed his morning ablutions in the Bein and then sat under a Ber (Zizyphus jujuba) tree to meditate. Shri GuruNanak Dev Ji meditated at the tree daily for approximately 14 years, nine months and 13 days.
